Why this Journey ?

Have you ever wondered about the seed, which is indeed a miracle in itself ? We all know how to prepare a seed for growth, but can we create one ? We've learned how to choose a seed, prepare the soil, plant it, water and offer nutrients; yet, when we hold that very seed in our palm, it is simply impossible to predict its future. You simply have to wait and watch it grow ! At times, you have to simply stand and watch what is happening as nothing stands in front of nature's fury or bounty.

After about eight years of walking this journey, we have eventually understood that farming basically means to 'figure it out'. There are always things around that you need to fix or change. At the farm, we frequently find ourselves questioning these choices and what stands out is the need for this constant change that keeps us going.

Change can be exciting , but it also makes any human a little nervous...are we making the right decisions, particularly, with the limited amount of resources available to us? Nature evolves with constant change and so it is, with the human nature. Alignment with this change involves not just adapting, but also, finding harmony with the transformations occurring around us. It's about being attuned to the rhythms of change, embracing them where possible, and using our adaptability to align our actions, goals, and beliefs with this evolution.

We are grateful for this window of learning and working alongside others striving towards the same goals. Often when we stand at the porch, watching the hills adorn themselves against the grandeur of the trees, we are filled with this deep sense of thankfulness.
